we accept the love that we think we deserve

You know that people haven’t read The Perks of Being a Wallflower when they see the trailer for the film and say aww that looks like a cute fun movie.

Seriously I’ve seen that so many times on tumblr like all these new fans coming and they have no clue about how dark, depressing, yet so touching that the book is.
